  • Select "My Account”. There you can find general information about your EU Login, including your unique Identifier and the email address associated with it.

  1. unique identifier starting with "v00" indicates that your account was created using a third-party sign-in option such as electronic identification (eID platforms like: itsme, SPID, ROeID, DigiD, MitID etc.), Facebook or Google. These accounts cannot be used for the Single Candidate Portal.

  2. If you currently work for an EU institution or body, please refer to the EU Login instructions for EU internal staff.

  3. If you have worked for an EU institution in the past, your EU Login is probably linked to an existing unique identifier.
In this case, if you experience issues creating your Single candidate portal account, please create a new EU Login account using a different email address. You can verify the type of EU login in the “My Account” section of your EU login.

  4. If you have not yet set up a second-factor authentication method (mobile device or trusted platform), your account is not ready to access the Single Candidate Portal. Please add a second-factor authentication method in your EU login profile. Please also read the instructions on how to add a trusted platform.

Ensure that the email address used to create your EU login is a private email address. Using a corporate email may result in loss of access to your EU Login and consequently to the Single Candidate Portal.
