Olivier Salles postao je 16. svibnja 2025. direktor u EPSO-u.
Olivier je francuski državljanin, magistrirao je međunarodne odnose i političke znanosti na sveučilištima Sorbonne i Lyon II.
Već je više od 30 godina javni službenik EU-a pa u EPSO donosi bogato iskustvo na pravnim i upravljačkim dužnostima te u koordinaciji politika. U više službi Komisije obavljao je razne dužnosti u ljudskim resursima, financijama i komunikaciji o zakonodavnom radu.
Olivier je bio upravni direktor u novoosnovanim tijelima EU-a, kao što su Tijelo za sprečavanje pranja novca (AMLA) i Ured europskog javnog tužitelja (EPPO), i navikao je na zahtjevne nove projekte.
Stoga je upravo on osoba koja može pomoći da EPSO ostvari svoju zahtjevnu zadaću pouzdanog partnera u postupcima odabira za institucije EU-a.
Head of Outreach and Communication: Sandra Cavallo
Sandra joined the European Personnel Selection Office on 16 December 2025 as Head of the Outreach and Communication Unit.
She brings over 25 years of experience in institutional communication, having held senior roles in EU and UN organisations as well as in Italian public service broadcasting (RAI).
Before joining EPSO, Sandra worked at the European Commission, including as Deputy Head of Unit at the Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) and at the Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM), where she coordinated EU-wide communication activities and networks such as Europe Direct. As Head of Sector for communication governance and strategic coordination, she contributed to the Commission’s external communication on disinformation and served as Equality Coordinator for DG COMM. She was a member of the Brexit Task Force (2018–2019).
Previously, she has also held senior communication roles with UNDP in Ukraine and Moldova, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), and the European Training Foundation (ETF).
Deputy to the head of Outreach and Communication: Heike Gras
Heike began her career in the private sector, working in the tourism and hospitality industry in Brussels and Gothenburg, followed by a role in an international audit firm.
She then moved to the public sector and joined the European Commission in 1996, initially serving in the finance and budget unit of the Directorate-General for Education, Training and Youth. Subsequent assignments included positions in the Directorates-General for External Relations and for Transport & Energy.
In 2003, Heike transitioned to human resources related functions, joining the newly established European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) as a competition coordinator. She later worked in the HR unit of the Directorate-General for the Internal Market & Services before returning to EPSO in 2013. Since then, she has held several roles within EPSO, from Team Leader for test development, Deputy Head of Unit for e-selection & test development, to her current position as Deputy Head of EPSO’s Outreach and Communication unit.
Head of Test Development and Delivery: Angela Heberling
Angela joined the Civil Service of the European Institutions in July 1993 in the department for the Environment in the European Commission.
After two years, she moved on to more HR related issues and began her career in the Recruitment service of the European Commission - which was later to be integrated into what is now the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). She has held a variety of positions within EPSO, from being a member of the Task Force responsible for the implementation of the EPSO Development Programme (EDP), Head of the Selection Management office in charge of monitoring all competitions and selections, Head of Unit for the e-Selection and Test development unit, Head of the Planning and Coordination Unit to her current post as Head of the Test development and Delivery unit.
Since November 2020, she has been deputising for the Director of EPSO.
Angela is married and has two children.
Nikoletta Rácz – Deputy Head of Unit, Test Development and Delivery
Nikoletta joined the European Commission in 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in human resources, operations and management functions.
A Hungarian national, she holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, a Master in European Integration and Development from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Kingston University London.
Throughout her career, Nikoletta has held a variety of positions within the European Commission, including HR Correspondent, Team Leader, Head of Sector and Deputy Head of Unit. Before joining the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), she worked at the Office for Infrastructure and Logistics in Brussels (OIB), she served as HR Correspondent for more than 1,200 staff members and led a large operational sector responsible for mail services, diplomatic pouch operations and the transport of materials.
Nikoletta joined EPSO in 2023 as Deputy Head of the Testing Operations Unit and subsequently became Deputy Head of the Test Development and Delivery Unit. In this role, she contributes to the development and delivery of selection tests and competitions for the European institutions and supports the modernisation of EPSO’s testing and assessment processes.
Acting head of Planning and Competition Management: Martin Ohridski
Martin holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Malta and MA in European Public Affairs from University of Maastricht. Following a stint in the area of tourism, he began his European career in the social and vocational training sector in Brussels in 2003 where he worked as for two European NGOs as a Public Affairs Officer and project manager.
Martin moved to the European civil service in 2008 when he joined the Crisis Management Unit within the European Commission’s Secretariat General (SG). He worked for over 5 years as Policy Officer and Team Leader responsible for providing internal coordination and support to ensure that the Commission can contribute effectively to crises that require action at Community level. Martin then worked in the SG Transparency Unit where he contributed to the implementation and further development of the Commission's wider policy on transparency and lobbying regulation. Martin joined the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) in late 2020 and worked as Policy Assistant to two Directors of the Office until assuming the role of Acting Head of EPSO’s Planning & Competition Management Unit in 2026.
Zamjenik načelnika Odjela za interne usluge: Sorin Serban
Sorin je karijeru započeo u privatnom sektoru radeći u području zakonske revizije i osiguranja u Parizu. Zatim je otišao u javni sektor i 2008. zaposlio se u Europskoj komisiji, u Zajedničkoj službi za reviziju Glavne uprave za istraživanje i inovacije. Tijekom rada u Komisiji obnašao je različite dužnosti, među ostalim dužnost revizora za ex post revizije, voditelja tima za kontrolu kvalitete te voditelja sektora za administrativnu potporu i revizije. Bio je zadužen za ex post revizije, unutarnju kontrolu te financijsko i proračunsko upravljanje.
Sorin se 2026. pridružio Europskom uredu za odabir osoblja (EPSO) kao zamjenik načelnika Odjela za interne usluge. Na toj dužnosti sudjeluje u osiguravanju urednog financijskog i informatičkog upravljanja u EPSO-u, među ostalim koordinacijom revizija, upravljanjem rizicima i unutarnjom kontrolom.
Voditeljica EuSA-e: Anna Mitelman
Anna Mitelman pridružila se „obitelji EPSO” u siječnju 2023. kao voditeljica Europske škole za javnu upravu (EuSA).
Anna ima 10 godina iskustva u upravljanju područjem stručnog usavršavanja i razvoja kao načelnica Odjela za ljudske resurse u Europskom odboru regija, gdje je, osim za učenje i usavršavanje te ljudske potencijale, bila odgovorna i za mnoga druga područja ljudskih resursa, kao što su prava i obveze, zdravstvene i socijalne usluge i pripravništvo.
Predana je cjeloživotnom učenju i uvjerena da će organizacije koje to razumiju i ulažu u učenje i razvoj zaposlenika dugoročno biti uspješne. Njezina je vizija da EuSA trajno bude prepoznata kao središte inovacija i izvrsnosti.
Anna živi sa suprugom i dva sina tinejdžerske dobi u Bruxellesu.
