Application
The selection process for contract staff is based on continuous registration — you can apply at any time.
To take part:
- Consult the contract staff section and select the job profile that best matches your educational and professional background.
- Make sure to read all important documents, especially the Call for Expressions of Interest.
- Click “Apply” to log in to your unique EPSO Account. If you don’t have one, start by creating it.
- Once logged in, complete your personal, educational, and professional details in your EPSO account. By doing this, you are registering in the EPSO contract staff database.
- You can update your profile at any time to reflect new experience or skills.
Shortlisting
When recruitment needs arise, the recruiting services of the EU institutions, bodies and agencies search the EPSO contract staff database and shortlist the candidates who best match the job requirements.
Testing
Shortlisted candidates are invited to take computer-based reasoning tests organised by EPSO, assessing:
- Verbal reasoning
- Numerical reasoning
- Abstract reasoning
Recruitment
Candidates who successfully pass the tests may be invited for an interview with the recruiting institution.
Successful interviewees can then be offered a contract staff position.
