To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be an EU national and enjoy the full rights of an EU citizen.
   
• Have perfect knowledge of the language of the competition and thorough knowledge of two other official EU languages, as indicated in the table below. For ease of reference, the required languages will be referred to as ‘language 1’, ‘language 2’, and ‘language 3’.
   

• You must also have completed university studies in law. Specific conditions apply to each competition. You can find detailed information on the required educational qualifications in the Notice of Competition.
   
• In principle, no professional experience is required. However, in cases where a candidate’s required educational qualifications correspond to completed university studies of 3 years only, they should also have subsequently obtained relevant professional experience of at least one year.
