A specific field to upload a copy of your ID card/passport is currently being developed by IT services in the Single Candidate Portal.
In the meantime, candidates should upload a copy of their ID card/passport to another section of their CV, such as the education/diploma part. EPSO hopes to see this matter solved as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.
Candidates of the Taxation competition (2 fields) must file one complaint per topic and per test. For instance: if you wish to file a technical complaint and an item-specific complaint about the reasoning tests, you must submit two separate complaints. If you wish to file a complaint about a technical issue, an item-specific complaint about the reasoning tests and an item-specific complaint about the FRMCQ, you must submit three separate complaints.
Please also note that all complaints must be filed via the Contact form in the Single Candidate Portal. This will allow EPSO to handle your complaints more quickly and efficiently.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Candidates to EPSO’s Taxation competition (fields 1 and 2) are hereby informed that all invitation letters for their testing session (planned for 3 April 2025) have been duly sent out via the Single Candidate Portal. For that reason, any queries received by EPSO regarding this matter will no longer be handled by our services.
Thank you for your understanding.
Information on how to attach supporting documents in the Single Candidate Portal is available at How to set up your profile and your CV | EU Careers (in particular fig. 4, 6 and 8).
Please note that these documents do NOT need to be uploaded and linked in your EPSO Account. All supporting documents must be attached by 16/04/25 at the latest in the CV of your Single Candidate Portal.
For more information please read: Which supporting documents should I provide?
Some candidates have encountered technical difficulties to register in the Single Candidate Portal for the competition for Administrators in the field of taxation.
In order to deal with this exceptional situation, our IT services have had to manipulate the application deadline for this competition.
However, the official deadline remains the one mentioned in the Notice of Competition, i.e. 19 February 2025, at 12:00 (midday), Brussels time.
The candidates concerned will be formally contacted by EPSO about their individual situation, including on how to proceed.
The competition for administrators in the field of taxation, which was published today on EPSO’s website, is special. Why is that so?
This is the first competition in 2025, to use a new application system, the so-called Single Candidate Portal. A comprehensive package of instructions was published also today, together with this competition’s dedicated page. EPSO would like to invite you to take some time to become familiar with those instructions. Future competitions will also be applied to using the Single Candidate Portal.
We hope that the Portal, created with the support of the European Commission’s Directorates-General for Human Resources & Security (DG HR), and Digital Services (DIGIT), will make the application experience for prospective candidates smoother and more efficient. One of the very important new features is, for instance, the fact that candidates will be able to reuse their information from previous applications.
Questions and complaints submitted via the contact forms on EPSO’s website will not be answered.
However, candidates must submit them in the Single Candidate Portal.
The only exception is for candidates who cannot access the Single Candidate Portal due to issues with the creation of and/or access to the EU Login Account. These questions can be submitted via this contact form.
