Candidates must indicate the language in which they wish to sit the reasoning skills tests* as Language 4 in their application form. Any of the 24 EU official languages can be chosen as Language 4.

Please note that the choice of languages cannot be modified after the deadline for applications. For more information about Languages 1, 2 and 3 in this competition, please refer to the Notice of Competition.

The deadline to perform the mandatory technical prerequisite check has been extended until 5 March 23:59 (Brussels time). 

We would like to remind candidates once more, that if they encounter technical issues with the TestWe App or the prerequisite check they should exclusively contact TestWe via their chatbot as explained in the instructions sent together with the invitation letter in their EPSO Account.

Some candidates have encountered technical difficulties to register in the Single Candidate Portal for the competition for Administrators in the field of taxation. 
In order to deal with this exceptional situation, our IT services have had to manipulate the application deadline for this competition. 
However, the official deadline remains the one mentioned in the Notice of Competition, i.e. 19 February 2025, at 12:00 (midday), Brussels time. 
The candidates concerned will be formally contacted by EPSO about their individual situation, including on how to proceed.

Candidates to the Scientific Researchers competition are advised to keep the following in mind when responding to the field-related short-text questionnaire (FRSTQ test):

• Your answers will be assessed on the basis of your knowledge and skills (i.e., the competencies necessary for performing activities in the respective areas referenced in the Notice of Competition), as demonstrated through your described experience.
• Candidates will not be asked to prove the experiences referred to, but should keep in mind that the markers are also experts in the given field.

In de aankondiging van de momenteel lopende vergelijkende onderzoeken voor vertalers staat het volgende over de vertaaltest (punt 4.3, e), i)): 

 “Tijdens de vertaaltest moeten de kandidaten een tekst (met elementen die idiomatische aanpassing of aanpassing aan de lokale context vereisen) vanuit taal 2 vertalen in taal 1.”
