What does an EU auditor do?

Today I work in the European Parliament where I support Members of Parliament, regardless of their political colour, to use information on performance and control from audits of the Court of Auditors, the Commission and other sources to improve decisions on budgets and on new legislation.

What is your work background?

I worked more than 10 years as an auditor in the Dutch administration and for the European Commission. I enjoyed it thoroughly, as I was working on lots of different subjects and met many new people through the audits I did.
