More than 7000 people applied for the AD7 specialist competition for auditor profiles that closed for application on 19 May 2026. We want to thank all candidates for their interest in the competition. 

We are aware of a technical glitch that affected some candidates – we are now reviewing all individual cases. If you wrote to us, we will revert to you in due time. We kindly ask you not to send any reminders. 

Update 18 May 2026: this issue is still not fully solved / see below how to apply.
The technical issue is still affecting the validation of some applications. Please follow the procedure below.

Update 15 May 2026: this issue is now solved and applications can be saved without any data loss.

A technical issue is affecting the validation of application. It appears that in some cases the application’s content is removed when the application is submitted. 

Our IT team is actively working to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, we kindly ask you to verify that your submitted application is fully complete. If content is missing, please follow these steps to submit a complete application:

1.    Log in to the Single Candidate Portal 
2.    Click on My Account > My Applications (located in the upper-left corner of the screen).
3.    From the list under "My Submitted Applications", locate your competition application
4.    Click the Modify button (pencil icon) next to it
5.    Re-enter all required fields (Eligibility, Registration Data, Motivation and Strengths, and Declaration) in one session
6.    Progress through each step by clicking Next (do not use the "Save as Draft" option).
7.    Do not use the "Save as draft" button at any point.
8.    Once all sections are complete, click the blue "Submit" button to validate your application.
9.    Should you encounter any further difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Single Candidate Portal.

We will keep candidates informed on their competition’s web page as soon as the issue is solved.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the technical issue and thank you for your patience and understanding.

As the application deadline for the competition in the field of Audit (19 May at midday) approaches, we would like to remind you of the following important information:

  • Your Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure that your application is submitted correctly and on time. 
    If you encounter any technical or administrative issues, please contact us as soon as possible.
     
  • Support Timeline: Please note that EPSO’s standard reply time is of 5 working days. 

Due to the public holiday on 14 May, we cannot guarantee that you will receive before the application deadline of 19 May at midday a response to inquiries sent after 11 May
To avoid any last-minute complications, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us well in advance if you require assistance.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the candidates to submit their application before the deadline of 19 May 2026 at 12h00 (midday) Brussels time.
