Make sure your equipment is ready!

  • Use a computer with at least Microsoft Windows 10 or Apple OS X 10.13.
  • Ensure you have minimum 4GB RAM (8GB recommended) and 1GB of free disk space.
  • Use a single screen setup; dual screens are not allowed.

  Use a private computer.

  • Make sure to use a private computer to sit your tests.
  • You must have so-called ‘administrator rights’ to your computer in order to install the testing application and uninstall any firewalls, for instance, that may prevent you from using the testing application. This is usually not possible with corporate computers.
  • You can read more about this on: Why can't I use my corporate computer for EPSO's online selection tests?

Always double-check the technical requirements.

  • Download and install the latest version of the TestWe application via the link provided in the email you will receive from the test provider.
  • Perform the mandatory technical prerequisite check early, before the deadline, using the same computer, network, and location as the ones you are planning to use on the day of your test. This will ensure the best possible experience.
  • Disable any firewalls or antivirus software for the duration of the test.
  • You can read more about IT and technical requirements on our dedicated page.

Verify your Internet connection.

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection during login, exam list synchronization, and test submission.
  • Log in to the TestWe application 5 days before your test to synchronize your exam list.

Prepare your identification document.

  • Use a valid ID with your name and photo on the same side. If you do not have that type of ID, upload a scan of your ID document with both sides to your EPSO Account.
  • Make sure that your ID is clearly readable during the check-in process.

Think about your environment setup.

  • Test in a quiet, well-lit room.
  • On your desk you may only have your computer, charger, wired mouse, wired keyboard, mousepad, and your ID.
  • Water in a clear container and paper tissues are allowed.

Check if your equipment is working properly!

  • Make sure that your webcam and microphone are working and will be on throughout the test.
  • Always use wired peripherals. Wireless/Bluetooth devices are not allowed.

Familiarise yourself with the platform.

  • Review the TestWe User Guide and practice test navigation in the 'Training' section of the application. (Only made available to candidates)

Respect the testing rules.

  • Keep the camera focused on you and do not move away from the computer during the test.
  • Follow all on-screen instructions and the TestWe User Guide to avoid invalidation of your test.

Start on time!

  • Log in at the scheduled time in your invitation letter to complete the identity and environment verification.

Report issues promptly.

  • If technical issues occur, follow the restart procedure and contact TestWe support immediately.
  • Save TestWe’s Helpdesk support number on your phone in advance:

+32 2 586 07 32 (Belgium)
or
+33 1 76 41 14 88 (France)

Always contact EPSO via the official channels.
