The European Union Agency for Asylum offers a traineeship contract of 6 months, renewable for a maximum of another 6 months.

Who can apply?
        Citizens of an EU Member State or of a Schengen associated country (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland)
        Recent university graduates and university students enrolled in a higher education course and having completed at least three years of studies before starting the traineeship. 
        Candidates should have a minimum level B2 of the (Common European Framework for Languages) in English.

What is the start date of the traineeship?
       A traineeship can start on the 1st or the 16th of any month, first intake begins on 1^st March 2026.

What is the duration of the EUAA traineeship?
      The initial traineeship contract is up to six months and may be renewed for a maximum of another six months. The maximum duration of a traineeship is 12 months.

MEPs may offer paid traineeships at their offices in the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels (or Strasbourg) based on an agreement with the European Parliament.

The MEPs’ traineeships may be undertaken in a wide variety of fields. The Member of Parliament who awards the traineeship will assign specific tasks to be completed during the traineeship.

Who can apply

• be aged 18 or over (derogations from this age limit can be granted in response to a duly substantiated request);
• be nationals of a Member State of the European Union or an accession/candidate country. Nevertheless, Members may offer a traineeship to nationals of third countries, provided they comply with visa requirements;
• have obtained a secondary-school leaving certificate corresponding to the level required for entry to university, or have followed a higher or technical course of study to an equivalent level, or have obtained a university diploma;
• have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union;
• not be party to an employment contract or any working contractual relationship during their traineeship;
• not have carried out a previous traineeship with a Member, nor have previously worked as a parliamentary assistant to a Member, whether local or accredited.

Duration: between six weeks and five consecutive months, and is decided by the Member of Parliament who awards the traineeship. It can start at any time during the year.

Paid: between EUR 921 and EUR 1510 for a full-time traineeship.

ERCEA przyjmuje stażystów Blue Book na płatne 5-miesięczne staże (dwie sesje rocznie, początek w marcu i październiku). Co roku dostępnych jest maksymalnie 10 staży, m.in. w następujących dziedzinach:

• nauka (nauki fizyczne i inżynieria, nauki biologiczne, nauki społeczne i humanistyczne)
• finanse
• administracja (prawo, zasoby ludzkie, ICT)
• komunikacja.

Kto może się zgłosić?

• Obywatele państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej, którzy ukończyli 18 lat (ograniczona liczba miejsc jest również dostępna dla obywateli państw spoza UE).
• Kandydaci muszą mieć wykształcenie na poziomie odpowiadającym ukończonym studiom wyższym, trwającym zwykle co najmniej trzy lata, potwierdzone dyplomem ukończenia studiów. Dyplom musi być wydany w jednym z państw członkowskich UE lub podlegać procedurze wydania świadectwa równoważności przez władze państwa członkowskiego.
• O staż nie mogą ubiegać się kandydaci, którzy już odbyli lub obecnie odbywają staż w jednej z instytucji lub jednym z organów Unii Europejskiej. Do stażu nie kwalifikują się też osoby zatrudnione w jakimkolwiek charakterze w jednej z instytucji lub jednym z organów Unii Europejskiej przez ponad 6 tygodni.
• Kandydaci muszą znać bardzo dobrze dwa języki urzędowe UE, w tym koniecznie jeden język roboczy (angielski, francuski lub niemiecki) na poziomie C1 lub C2 zgodnie z europejskim systemem opisu kształcenia językowego, oraz drugi język na poziomie co najmniej B2 zgodnie z europejskim systemem opisu kształcenia językowego. W przypadku obywateli państw spoza UE wymagana jest tylko znajomość jednego języka roboczego na poziomie C1 lub C2.
