A new important document: Addendum to the call for expressions of interest has been published concerning the CAST Permanent selection procedure.

EPSO is pleased to announce the publication of the reserve lists for competition EPSO/AST/151/22 - Assistants (AST4) in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), composed of 4 different fields:

1. ICT infrastructures, cloud, networks and middleware
2. Digital workplace, office automation and mobile computing
3. Development/configuration, testing, operation and maintenance of IT applications and off-the-shelf solutions; Data management, data analytics and artificial intelligence
4. ICT security

EPSO is pleased to announce that a new CAST selection exercise is planned for 14 June 2024. This selection exercise will be organised with a new test provider. For that reason, some changes will be introduced in the testing procedures. Candidates, for instance, will no longer be required to book their testing window in advance. Instead, all candidates will be invited to sit for their test at the same time on the specified date and time. Invited candidates will receive more detailed information from EPSO by mid-May 2024, through their individual EPSO Account, and from the new test provider...

EPSO is moving to a full 24-language regime in all open competitions. Therefore, as was already the case for the Transport and the ‘Nuclear energy’ competitions, the application periods for the Economics competition and for the Crisis management, Migration and internal security competition will also be reopened. More concrete information about what this will entail to existing candidates will be communicated to them as soon as confirmed, via their EPSO Account. As usual, once the amended notice of competition is published in the Official Journal of the EU, a dedicated landing page will also be published on EPSO’s website...

This report summarises the main developments at the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) since it decided to pause test delivery for open competitions on 16 October 2023. The pause occurred due to significant technical difficulties observed in the delivery of tests under EPSO’s new competition model adopted on 31 January 2023.

Since then, EPSO has been working hard to find a better online test delivery system, capable of responding to the expectations of the EU institutions that it works for, as well as of the thousands of candidates who participate in EPSO’s regular selection procedures.
