How did you become an EU auditor? 

My career started in the private sector, where I worked in financial audit at a Big Four firm and gained hands on experience with audit tools, along with a solid understanding of how different businesses operate in practice. This background prepared me well for my current role at the European Parliament’s Budgetary Control Secretariat, where the work is varied and there’s always something new to learn. 

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I enjoy most is working with colleagues from across Europe while contributing to the transparent and accountable use of EU funds that affect millions of citizens.
