How to navigate in the Single Candidate Portal

How to have access to the Single Candidate Portal
 

STEP 1: Authenticate using EU Login

In case not done yet,  Create your EU Login Account.

Enter your e-mail address and click on “Next”. You must not use any third-party sign-in option like the eID because you would lose access to the account containing your application/s.

You can only authenticate using the following:

1) PIN code

STEP 2: Accept the Data privacy policy.

STEP 3: Fill the form with the remaining data.

Once you have accepted the data privacy statement, you will be redirected to your profile in the Single Candidate Portal. Your first name and last name are prefilled in your profile. The e-mail address in your EU Login will also be automatically copied into your profile.

IMPORTANT: The personal data in your profile (your last name, your first name and your date of birth) must be identical to the personal data in your identity document bearing your photo (ID card or passport). If you have more than one family name or first name on your identity document, you must list them all.

Add an updated copy of your ID or passport any time via the “Add Nationality” button( see the picture above). If you are using an EU corporate email you are not obliged to do it.
You are not obliged to upload your picture.

You must indicate your mobile and your home phone numbers. If you have only one phone number, you can copy it in both fields. Only use the following format: + country code, followed by number. You must add at least one nationality. Start and end dates are not mandatory.

Please fill them and save the data to finalise your profile. Then click on Proceed to log-in.

Navigating the Single Candidate Portal.

From the Single Candidate Portal homepage, you can:

My applications section.

You can find your draft and submitted applications through the My Applications link on the homepage of the Single Candidate Portal.

You can save your application any time to modify and submit it later. You must submit your application before the deadline in the notice of competition. Applications that are not submitted by the deadline are not considered. In line with the data privacy statement, they will be deleted 1 year after the deadline.

You can also withdraw your application until the deadline for applications is over.

Each application has a unique number. If you decide to edit an application that was previously validated, your application will get a new number.
