FAQs

I cannot find my application(s) in the Single Candidate Portal, what should I do?

Question categories:

In most cases, candidates cannot access their application(s) because they have created more than one Single Candidate Portal (SCP) account, linked to different EU Login accounts and they are trying to access their application(s) via the wrong SCP account.

Follow the steps below to identify the correct account and regain access to your application.

Step1: Identify all the EU Login accounts linked to your email address(es)

  • Retrieve the automatic email from the EU Login authentication service that was generated after the creation of your EU Login account. This email contains your User ID, which usually starts with “n00”.

If you cannot find this email:

  • Go to: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas
  • Enter each of your email addresses and click “Next” to check whether an EU Login account exists for that address.
  • If you do not remember your password, click “Lost your password?”
  • If you have several email addresses, repeat this check for each one

Step 2: Once you have identified all your EU Login User IDs:

Remember that each EU Login User ID has its own password and second-factor authentication method. You must therefore use the password and second-factor authentication method associated with the User ID you are using to sign in.

Step 3:

If you still cannot find your application(s), but you still have access to at least one SCP account, please contact EPSO indicating:

  • all your EU Login User IDs and all your email addresses.

If you cannot access the SCP, please use the contact form on our website.

Important

  • Do not create a new EU Login account if you are having trouble finding your application.
  • Do not use eID, Google or Facebook sign-in methods
  • Do not delete any EU Login accounts. Deleted accounts will be permanently lost.
  • For EU Login-related issues, contact the EU Login Helpdesk at Still need help? - European Union

It 's very important to keep a record of the User ID, second-factor authentication and the email address used for your SCP account.
