In response to a number of requests received by EPSO, concerning the new call for expression of interest published by the Joint Research Centre (JRC), we would like to clarify as follows:

• The new call (COM/1/2015/GFIV — Research) is fully managed by JRC and any requests for clarifications, review, complaints, resolution of technical problems and alike, related to the registration, selection process or recruitment opportunities should be addressed to JRC directly (JRC-OPEN-CALL-RESEARCH@ec.europa.eu). Please refer to the call for expression of interest for full contact details (https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/working-with-us/jobs/vacancies/function-group-iv-researchers). Let us remind you that the competences related to recruitment remain sole responsibility of JRC.


• The reserve list EPSO/CAST/S/5/2013 remains valid till 09/09/2016 and is open for recruitment by all institutions and agencies. However, in line with the Article IX of the Call for Expression of Interest, please be reminded that Inclusion in the database is not a guarantee for a job offer. As vacancies arise, the recruiting services will search the database and invite candidates who best match the job requirements in question for an interview".

Since JRC opened the possibility to update profiles and no end date for registrations is determined, your candidature remains valid even beyond the date of validity of EPSO list, this concerns also the validity of result achieved in the competency test. Moreover, by updating your application with recent scientific achievements you can potentially increase your chances for recruitment.
