Thursday, 7 December - Demonstration in the European quarter
Brussels authorities authorised a demonstration organised by pro-independence Catalan organisations taking place on Thursday 7th December between 10:00 and 14:00. Around 20.000-30.000 people are expected to protest in the European Quarter. Significant traffic problems are to be expected and it might be temporarily difficult to have access to some Commission buildings. If you have an assessment centre or test appointment in Brussels on this day, we recommend that you check with your travel agency or operator and take the necessary precautions to ensure that you arrive on time.
