Tõlkijad (AD)

Tõlkijate (AD) konkursil osalevad kandidaadid peavad sooritama järgmised testid ja katsed:

  • mõtlemisoskuse testid

Kandidaatide keelteoskust võidakse hinnata ühe või mitme järgmise keeleülesande alusel:

  • keelelist arusaamist näitav ülesanne 

         ja/või

  • kirjalik tõlge

         ja/või

  • toimetamisülesanne

         ja/või

  • muud keelteoskust mõõtvad ülesanded

Mõtlemisoskuse testid

Mõtlemisoskuse tekstid on valikvastustega testid, mille alusel hinnatakse kandidaatide loogilise mõtlemise oskust ja võimet mõista keelelist ja numbrilist teavet ning seoseid mõistete vahel, mis ei sisalda keelelisi, ruumilisi ega numbrilisi elemente (abstraktne mõtlemine).

  • Verbaalne mõtlemine:

Language comprehension tests

The language comprehension test consists of 12 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) designed to assess your linguistic abilities in vocabulary, grammar/syntax, and style.

Each question presents a scenario with four possible answers, only one of which is correct.

  • Scoring: Each correct answer earns one point. There are no penalties for incorrect answers.
  • Timing: You have 25 minutes to complete all 12 questions. While time management is part of the assessment, the test is designed so that all questions can reasonably be answered within the allotted time.
  • Knowledge required: The questions are based solely on the information provided in the text and do not require any prior knowledge.

Revision test

The revision test consists of revising a text that has been translated from Language 2 into Language 1.

Language knowledge test

The language knowledge test is a multiple-choice test consisting of 25 independent questions.

Each question offers four answer options (A, B, C, or D), of which only one is correct.

Candidates have 25 minutes to complete the test. The questions may assess any of the following competencies: grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic usage, spelling, and punctuation.
