Temporary staff
Temporary staff are recruited to fill vacant positions within EU institutions and agencies for a fixed period, ranging from a few months to several years.
Their tasks may include regulatory, legal, scientific, or financial support; policy and data analysis; IT, administrative, research, communication, and programming duties, among others.
Temporary positions require various qualifications and specialisations, covering roles from assistants to higher administrators.
- Administrators are typically recruited at grades from entry-level AD 5 up to AD 6 or higher.
- Assistant grades range from AST 1 to AST 3, with higher levels for specialised roles.
