In the context of the upcoming Scientific Researchers competition, planned for publication by EPSO on 5 November 2024 (see Upcoming selection procedures | EU Careers (europa.eu) for more details), a new type of test will be introduced, the Field-Related Short Text Questionnaire (FRSTQ).

This test is designed to assess a candidate's field-specific expertise. The questions require concise, experience-based answers that demonstrate the candidate's knowledge and skills in the field.

Candidates will receive 10 questions and have 60 minutes to complete the test, with each answer limited to 500 characters, including spaces.

Currently, this test is only foreseen in the context of this competition. However, EPSO cannot exclude its use in future competitions, if relevant.
