The EU institutions are looking for professionals in the field of data management and data knowledge. Successful applicants will be recruited as administrators at grade AD7 for positions based in Luxembourg.
The successful candidates may be assigned any of the duties below, individually or in combination, depending on service needs. Similar or related duties may also be assigned.
- Data architecture & interoperability – designing and structuring data systems to ensure interoperability and EU compliance
- Data governance & compliance – establishing frameworks to manage data access, quality, and other aspects of the regulatory landscape
- Data policies & strategy – developing strategic frameworks to guide policies on data management and use across sectors
- Data engineering & integration – building and maintaining systems for data ingestion, transformation, and dissemination of structured/semi-structured information, multimedia content, geospatial data, etc.
- Data warehousing & platforms – creating centralised repositories and platforms for data storage and analysis
- Business intelligence & reporting – transforming data into actionable insights through analytics and visualisation
- Master & reference data management – ensuring consistency and accuracy of critical business data across systems
- Data taxonomy and metadata management – organising and contextualising data to enhance findability, accessibility, and reusability
- Data quality management – ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data
- Data security & privacy – protecting data from unauthorised access and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Advanced analytics & AI preparation – preparing structured and unstructured data for machine learning and AI applications, including large language models
