
What makes my job so rewarding is the contact with the candidates, the human interaction, and knowing that, through my work, I help build the diverse teams the ECA needs to fulfil its mission: strengthening transparency, accountability and trust in the European Union.
What does your role the European Court of Auditors involve?
I contribute to the selection of motivated and skilled people from across the EU throughout the whole selection process. This includes drafting tailored vacancy notices for the services and guiding the selection committees in the assessment of candidates to identify the best fit for the post.

What has your experience been of living in Luxembourg?
For anyone looking for a good balance between city life, family life and nature, Luxembourg is an excellent choice. It has an international atmosphere and offers plenty of opportunities to meet new people. At the same time, it is family-friendly, with a wide range of childcare and education options. Schools offer a multilingual environment where many cultures come together in the classroom. Forests and walking and cycling trails are always close by. And here is Luxembourg’s best-kept secret: did you know that public transport is free?
How would you describe the working culture?
The working culture at the ECA is built on trust and collaboration, creating a positive and supportive environment. Hybrid working arrangements, together with the possibility of working from abroad for a limited number of days each year, make the ECA a family-friendly employer. Staff wellbeing is also a genuine priority, reflected in the wide range of activities on offer.
