Your well-being is central to our workplace culture. We promote a healthy, supportive environment that recognises the importance of physical, mental and emotional well-being.

While each institution has its own specific programmes, they all follow a shared approach, often under names such as Be Well or Fit@Work. These programmes focus on the 4 areas below.

  • Mental health: Access to confidential psychological counselling (internal or via external partners), mindfulness workshops and stress management seminars.
  • Physical health: On-site or subsidised sports facilities, preventive medical check-ups (annual or every 2 years) and ergonomic assessments for working at home and in the office.
  • Social well-being: Support for staff clubs (from photography to sailing) to foster a sense of community across staff of different nationalities.
  • Professional balance: Training for managers on how to lead with empathy and recognise the early signs of burnout in their teams.

What’s most important for people to know is the unique combination the Parliament offers: an international, interesting, and dynamic environment with real opportunities for professional development. At the same time, it provides very human working conditions that support a well-balanced life, with free time for art, hobbies, and a rich social life.
