What does your role involve?

As a Project Manager in the Human Resources Directorate, I work at the intersection of data, technology and people. My responsibilities have evolved from developing HR reports and supporting the Sysper HR information system to coordinating the Human Resources Transformation (HRT) project within ECA. Today, I help drive the modernisation of HR processes and systems, working with different stakeholders to deliver solutions that support both HR professionals and staff across the institution. At the same time, I ensure that personal data is handled responsibly and securely, because trust and data protection are fundamental to effective HR management.

What do you appreciate most about working at the European Court of Auditors?

What I appreciate most is working for an institution whose mission is to promote accountability and transparency in the European Union. Even in my HR role, I contribute by providing reliable data and insights that help support informed decisions. I also enjoy collaborating with talented colleagues from many different cultures and professional backgrounds.

What would you say to someone considering a career in the EU institutions?

Be curious, adaptable and open to learning. The EU institutions offer unique opportunities to work in a multicultural environment, tackle complex challenges and contribute to initiatives that have an impact across Europe. Whether your interests lie in policy, technology, finance, human resources or data analysis, you will find opportunities to grow professionally while working alongside talented colleagues from many different backgrounds.

What has your experience been of living in Luxembourg?

Luxembourg offers an excellent quality of life and a truly multicultural environment. Despite its size, it is an international country where people from across Europe come together. For me, it provides an excellent balance between professional opportunities, family life and personal wellbeing. Its international atmosphere also makes it easy to meet people from different cultures and feel part of a truly European community.
