What is your role at Europol?
I am a Business Product Manager in Europol’s Information Management Unit (IMU). My role offers a unique and deeply rewarding professional experience by providing constant engagement with law enforcement stakeholders, allowing me to directly understand their operational needs and deliver solutions that enhance their ability to combat serious and organised crime. This close collaboration ensures that my work has a tangible and positive impact.
What do you find exciting about working at Europol?
What excites me most about working at Europol is the opportunity to collaborate with law enforcement professionals from across Europe. Being part of a team that directly contributes to making Europe safer is incredibly rewarding. What has your experience been of living in The Hague?
Living in The Hague has been a fantastic experience. The city beautifully blends vibrancy with tranquillity, offering a rich cultural scene that includes world-class museums, historic landmarks, and lively festivals. My experience at Europol, particularly within the Information Management Unit (IMU), has been essential in advancing my professional growth. The agency offers excellent training programs, which have significantly enhanced my technical and strategic skills. Beyond formal training, I’ve gained invaluable insights from my colleagues in IMU and across Europol. Their expertise in managing information systems, optimizing data workflows, and aligning business needs with technical solutions has deepened my understanding of effective information management.

What drives me every day is knowing that my work makes a tangible difference. At Europol, even small contributions—such as delivering training to law enforcement in Member States or coordinating data collection—help disrupt crime and prevent harm.
