EUSPA offers paid traineeships in different departments.
Who can apply:
- University graduates (or soon-to-be), who are nationals of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland or Norway.
- Candidates who possess a thorough knowledge of one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union; one of these languages must be the working language of the Agency (English)
- Applicants have not previously undertaken a traineeship at EUSPA

Eligibility criteria
- Have already obtained a university degree of at least 3 years by the closing date of application;
- Have a good knowledge of English (minimum level: B2 according to CEFR);
- Have never been an EFSA trainee or employed by EFSA in any capacity, receiving any sort of remuneration;
- Meet the character requirements needed for the duties involved (e.g. a sworn affidavit to the effect that you have no criminal record).

Traineeships - CPVO
The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) is recruiting 7 trainees (4 Legal profiles, 2 Communication, 1 Auditing).
The human dimension of the Agency together with the wide range of tasks dealt in it will allow the trainees to truly understand and experience what it is to work for an EU institution.
Who can apply:
To be considered eligible, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Be a national of an EU Member State;
- Enjoy full rights as a citizen;
- Have a university degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a bachelor) in the field covered by the traineeship;
- Have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union and satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the EU.
Candidates who fulfilled a traineeship in an EU institution are eligible to apply.
Duration: 12 months (3 October 2023-30 September 2024)

Council of the European Union - Paid Traineeships
Depending on the needs of the service, the daily work of a trainee would generally be equivalent to that of junior administrator officials at the beginning of their career e.g.: preparing meetings and drafting minutes, attending meetings of Coreper and Council preparatory bodies, researching on a particular project, translating documents, compiling documentation, writing reports. Trainees will also be invited to participate in a study programme that includes visits and conferences at other EU institutions in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg.
Who can apply: EU nationals who, by the deadline for submitting applications, have completed at least the first part of their university studies and have a degree certificate or equivalent.
Duration: 5 months.
Paid: Yes. €1 376.88 net per month, reimbursement of travel allowance and GSC restaurant reduction card.

Traineeships (various profiles) - ESMA
ESMA has organized general calls for expression of interests for a traineeship positions, without any specific deadline for applications for the following profiles:
- Transversal
- Legal
- Financial Markets
The aim of our traineeship programmes is to provide graduates/undergraduate students with a unique and first-hand experience of the workings of ESMA.
Traineeships offer 6-12 months applied training in market analysis, statistics or data management. It provides also insights into conceptual and empirical issues of financial market functioning and integration, as well as regulation, supervision and enforcement in the European Union.

Who can apply: University graduates aged 18 or over. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of two of the official languages of the European Union and should not have worked for more than two consecutive months within an EU institution or body.
