We are happy to inform you that our Contract Agent selection tests, known in our jargon as ‘CAST-Permanent’ or simply as ‘CAST-P’, will go ahead as planned in 2023. As you know, if you are invited (shortlisted) by one of the recruiting services of the EU institutions EPSO works for, you will be contacted via your EPSO account for the relevant tests. Stay tuned and check your EPSO account regularly.

This year there are some important novelties, shortlisted candidates should be aware of:

• Computer-based reasoning tests organised by EPSO will be done via remotely proctored testing. Please read our page on the core IT requirements for this type of testing. You may also wish to have a look at our page on the use of corporate computers in this testing context.
• Pending adjustments in the testing system, EPSO will be responsible only for organising the reasoning tests, but not for the competency tests. The recruiting services of the EU institutions will adapt the selection procedure of Contract Agents accordingly, and keep their relevant services informed of the applicable procedure.
